About Us

Opened in 2004, phase one of our North Peninsula Jewish Campus (Campus) is a true success story. It has quickly become a vibrant focal point for a diverse Jewish community of 53,000 and a rich new resource for San Mateo County residents.

On an easily accessible 12-acre site in Foster City, The Jewish Community built a remarkable place — The Jewish Campus.

Poised to spawn a Jewish renaissance here, the Campus has created a legacy for our children, our grandchildren and our common future as a community. Helping to create this community legacy are four tenant-partners: the Peninsula Jewish Community Center, The Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, the Jewish Community Federation and the Jewish Family & Children's Services.

Our collaboration is strengthened by a unique public/private agreement with the City of Foster City. Seeking to revitalize the municipality, Foster City integrated the Jewish Campus directly into the city's Civic Center Master Plan, making it an integral part of its strategy. Located in the heart of the community next to city hall, the library, police station, recreation center, tennis courts and lagoon, the Campus is easily accessible from Highways 101 and 92.

The municipality provided the Campus with a fantastic location, land, and an attractive long-term lease arrangement encouraging them to build in Foster City. In return, the campus brings new jobs, new business and a place for residents and employees to access campus facilities.
